I believe individuals have the answers they need within themselves; they just need assistance accessing those answers. I recognize the difficulties with seeking counseling and will actively collaborate with you to realize your goals. Together we will identify what is and is not working for you and develop tools that increase your well-being.

I am experienced in assisting individuals with depression, grief, anxiety, self-esteem, substance use, and crisis. I promote a relaxed, safe environment and incorporate humor and laughter when appropriate.
Being heard and accepted are important pieces in the journey to self-actualization and therapy provides a safe space to speak freely without judgement and is the first step to reaching your full potential.

Meet Me
Hello. I’m Terese. I have lived in Virginia Beach for my entire life and have experienced a lot of change and growth both within the city and myself. I was a born listener and enjoy activities that incorporate our sense of hearing, including simply listening to the outdoors.
I am outside as much as possible when the weather permits, and I much prefer warm weather to cold. I enjoy kayaking, bike riding, and hiking. In the winter, I enjoy puzzles, reading- mostly stories about people, and board games.
